stork stack:march.

My March stork stack arrived! March is my third and final stork stack from the gift I received for Christmas and I'm sad to see it go.

This is such a sweet and thoughtful gift to give to a mom. Thanks again Jamie!

wimmer-ferguson soothing silicone teether: This could honestly not have come at a better time. We think Lucy is working on her two front teeth and she loves to pick up this teether while she is playing on the floor and drool all over it and bite it. She also likes to stare at the rainbow of colors. This has been her favorite teether of all we own!

Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you See? One of my all-time favorite children's books.  I had actually been reciting parts of this book from memory to Lucy when playing and telling myself "I need to get that book." Stork Stack did it for me! Lucy loves all of the colorful animals in the book. We say "mommy mommy what do you see-I see a Lucy staring at me" and add our own ending to the book.

Weleda Baby Calendula Diaper Care: We currently use Destin brand, but are always open to trying new diaper creams! We haven't busted this one open yet-but it has great reviews on amazon.

Simple Squares Nut&Honey Confection: These are little granola-like protein bars. I'm not a huge coconut fan unless its unsweetened-and these are pretty yummy! Lots of protein and fiber-a good snack for mom.

weecantoo baby finger paint: I am the most excited about this edible finger paint! It's made from real pumpkin and if baby decides to put her hand {or hands} in her mouth {which is Lucy's new favorite game} while painting, its completely safe. We can't wait to try this one out!

stork stack:february

This sweet package showed up on my doorstep last week.

Last week, as in, the same week I managed to dump a cup of hot tea on my MacBook keyboard. The macbook that I blog with. The macbook that I save all my sweet baby's pictures on. It's a sad, sad story that ends in the Apple store charging $750 for repairs. Ouch.

Ok lets not talk about it anymore. I'm traumatized. I am also so excited to tell you about all of the amazing things that showed up in this month's Stork Stack.

Little Duck Organics: Yummy organic, no-sugar-added banana snacks! Can't wait to try these in a couple of months.

Peek-a-Boo Panda: The cuuutest little panda who plays peekaboo with baby.

Flat Elephant-Under the Nile: Toy stuffed with organic cotton so there is no fluff to inhale. And he's striped. And cute. And get a look at that knotty tail.

BabyLegs:  I love leggings. They are the funnest (yeah I just made up a word) little accessory for chubby little babythighs. (madeupword#2.) And these are in animal print. Lurve. (#3).

EBoost: vitamin-infused dietary supplement that provides energy, recovery, focus, and supports the immune system. Natural energy from green tea and green coffee and the suggested daily allowance of essential viatmins and minerals. No sugar, no artificial flavors and only 10 calories! Very interested to try these little guys-especially when a cold is creepin in.

Thanks Jamie for another sweet box on my doorstep!

Stork Stack-january

Have you heard of a stork stack?

It has to be the cutest concept for mothers-to-be out there.

From Stork Stack:

A sweet friend of mine gifted me a 3 month subscription to Stork Stack for Christmas and my birthday this year. Which means, in January, February, and March I get these sweet little boxes on my doorstep with 5 awesome things for me and baby.

(They also have "Shower Stacks" which make a great gift for moms-to-be in general or for a baby shower.)

They are like little grab bags for moms!

When I was little, mom and dad would take us to the dollar store and let us pick out one item to take home. Among all the other crazy knick knacks the dollar store had, there were these little brown mystery grab bags. One for a girl and one for a boy. They were stapled shut and you had to buy it before you opened it to see what you got. The best part was opening up my little grab bag every time we went....it meant you got more than one thing for a dollar and it was like Christmas every time wondering what I picked out.

Stork Stack is helping me relive my childhood all over again!

My January stork stack just arrived....

Isn't their packaging so precious?

January's theme is "Happy, Healthy New Year."

The goods:

Wiggle & Move: baby workout book to encourage interaction between mom and baby and to stimulate the senses.

Sara Haley's Sweat UNLIMITED. Sara is a new mom herself and her DVDs are award winning. Time to lose this baby weight!

Mommy's Bliss Gripe Water.  We actually just started using Gripe water for gas and it works great! It is made of natural ingredients so has to be stored in the fridge to stay fresh. I'm excited to have more.

RaZbaby RaZberry Teether. So far Lucy's not so sure what to do with this teether but has been chewing on her hands a lot--so I think she could be on her way to teething and this little RaZberry pacifier teether is super cute.

Instagrad. Stork stack donated $10 to start a 529 Savings Plan for your child. It's an online gifting tool that encourages family and friends to contribute to your child's 529 plan.

I love our Stork Stack and can't wait to see what February will bring!
